Dr. Jake Bauwens did a great job with repairing my shoulder and bicep that were severely damaged. He got straight to the point with my first visit and before my surgery he laid out all my options and possible outcomes. It was not your normal rotator cuff repair. I have full mobility and am very happy with the results.

He clearly explained the injury and what needed to be done. The surgery went exactly as planned. Recovery has been on track, and the knee feels strong. Dr. Jake Bauwens did a total reverse shoulder replacement for me in November, and I am so happy with the results! I was in pain for several years because of arthritis in my shoulder, and was limited in my arm movements. It got so bad, I was having trouble sleeping! Now, 8 weeks later, other than some discomfort right after surgery, I have almost no pain and much more mobility in my arm. I was amazed at how quickly I healed and at such little pain I've had since the surgery! Dr. Bauwens was wonderful, he explained everything that he was going to do, and was very understanding about my concerns. He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
